Christmas

This year we had a great Christmas we got Micah's present early and he has thoroughly enjoyed, as have the kids.
Then we continued the tradition that Grandna had started while she was here last year. This year the kids wanted gingerbread trees instead of a house.

We then opened our one present for Christmas eve. This year they got much needed comforters. They were so excited they couldn't wait till bed time.







Frank was the first to wake up the next morning and went straight to the living room to see if Santa had came. We woke up to a little boy screaming down the hall with excitement. We opened the presents and then decided to spend the day up in Nauvoo. So we packed some bags and headed out. Nauvoo as always was very pretty. It had gotten some snow, so we got our white Christmas after all.
So its Christmas night and as some of you might know nothing is open. We drove around looking for some where to eat or get some food. When we came upon a little restaurant that was open. I couldn't help but laugh as we parked thinking how appropriate it was to eat Chinese keeping with the old Hollywood Chevy Chase movies.
